Shapely, small unpainted 2,2 Gal. (approx. 8,4l) chopper tank with one tank opening for bayonet cap as they were common on Harley-Davidson® tanks of the 1936s - 1973s. A connection for a 3/8" NPT fuel tap with external thread is placed on the right side almost in the middle. Furthermore, the tank has two convenient openings with 1/4" NPT female threads for connecting additional fuel-carrying lines or a fuel tap (such as on some Triumph models) at the lower end (see photo) which are closed with metal plugs when not in use.

Total length including the support tabs 46.7 cm The recess to accommodate the frame tube is 6.5 cm wide The tunnel depth is about 6 cm in the front and middle, slightly decreasing to about 4 cm in the back.
Tank please check for leaks and adjust the chopper tank before painting.

EIN TRAUM !! blanko, d.h. schleifen, füllern und lacken muß man machen, aber der tank is ne granate !! ( einzig die schweißnähte an der unterseite sind so "ok" ) Im großen und ganzen: große freude und besten dank ! pbeier

Tank wie abgebildet und beschrieben. Wie bisher immer bei Doc66: Schneller Versand, gute Verpackung, top Preis/Leistungs Verhältnis.. Der Tank ist exakt so, wie abgebildet und beschrieben. Da gibt es aus meiner Sicht nichts zu kritisieren, daher 5 Sterne.
