3/8 Inch NPT tank plug, zinc finished, with knurling and rubber seal. Function of the plug is to close the for Harley-Davidson® Tanks typical ? Inch NPT thread. Perfect and easy solution if you take one of our choppertanks with multiple openings or if you put a Harley-Davidson® Tank on an other bike.
Measures: Knurled head with 25,4 mm diameter and 6,5 mm height. 3/8 inch NPT thread (ca 16,5 mm) with 11 mm length.
Assembly note: The NPT thread is a tapered or conical thread, which is self-sealing at low pressure. Nevertheless it should be used with Teflon tape (see DOCK art. no. 18-0063). The plug is not screwed in completely. After "hand tight" please tighten a ¼ to ½ turn.
