With this oil change tool kit for Harley-Davidson, you’ll have handy tools to hand for various tasks involved in changing the oil. The kit includes a primary oil filler funnel, an oil filter funnel, a crankcase filler tool, as well as a nail and a hose for changing the oil filter. This allows you to carry out various maintenance steps on your bike in a cleaner and more controlled manner.
Using the nail supplied, you can punch a hole in the oil filter so that the oil inside can drain out almost completely. Once the oil has drained from the filter, unscrew the oil filter. The oil filter funnel positioned underneath catches any remaining oil that escapes, helping you to avoid spilling oil on the engine, the frame or the workshop floor. The hose attached to the oil filter funnel allows you to drain the used oil in a controlled manner into a collection container.
The right tools are also useful when filling the primary casing and carrying out other tasks involved in an oil change. Especially if you service your Harley-Davidson yourself or look after a classic chopper, bobber or cruiser on your own, a well-designed oil change tool kit is a practical addition to your workshop. The tools help you to carry out maintenance work neatly and efficiently.
