In the sixties and seventies rubber fork gaiters have been standard equipment to many motorcycles - from BSA to Honda and Zündapp. These protected the fork from dust and dirt and helped to give the bike a classic look. Today gaiters are a indispensable design feature for old school and vintage custombikes and even for dynamic cafe racers.
DOCK66 now offers fork gaiters for Harley-Davidson® FXDWG from 2006 up to 2014 with 49mm forks such as Wide Glide forks. These black fork gaiters can be fixed by plastic zip ties or stainless hose clamps (not included) if desired. They come in pairs.
The gaitors are now made of NBR rubber which is highly resistant against grease and oil and can be cleaned easily because of the smooth surface.
These measure about 230 mm long, with a 65 mm opening at the top and a 49 mm opening at the bottom.
