Just in these days the right volume of a vehicle is more important than ever. Over time, mufflers become louder - yes, even those with E-marking - the filling of the insulation wool fades. You need a new filling.
Or you install dB-Eater, these can be wrapped with exhaust insulation wool and thus influence the volume and sound.
High quality exhaust insulation wool made of fiberglass. Suitable for filling all types of mufflers for noise reducing, whether on a motorcycle or car. The wool is high temperature resistant. Scope of delivery: approx.300g.
As a rough guide, we recommend about 200-250 grams of insulation wool (one package unit) per liter of muffler volume. Please do not try to insert as much insulation wool as possible into the silencers. If too much wool is inserted, it will no longer be able to absorb sound!
NOTE: When processing the insulation wool, we recommend wearing protective clothing such as gloves, safety goggles and a mouth guard, as skin irritation may occur.
