Chromed tank cap with a right hand thread and vent for use on tanks of most 1996-2012 Harley-Davidson® models. (Exception Sportster® XL 04-06 and 48 models, 1200 Custom, and others that have a vent pipe in the tank filler neck. It is best to check beforehand, the tube may have to be removed. Of course, the lids can also be used for custom projects and matching accessory tanks.
The special feature of the high quality, gasket equipped lid is the retractable thumbscrew with pop-up function. If you press with your thumb on the closed tank lid, the thumbscrew can be retracted by a 90° turn, the lid is now ultra-flat and gives a classic smooth look.
ATTENTION - the lid differs significantly from the "China junk" for 20 euros!
Dimensions: Outer diameter 60 mm Height with recessed knurled screw 36 mm Diameter of the knurled screw 38 mm Height of the knurled screw 9 mm Thread diameter approx. 45 mm Thread depth approx. 28 mm.
