Notice: The thread of the fuel tap connection is not finished cut and would need to be reworked. It is not 100% perfect - just ready for the road.
This compact 2,2 gallon gas tank is designed in the typical Sportster style. It fits perfectly to stock Harley-Davidson® Sportster models but also to custom motorcycles like bobbers, cafe racers, choppers, flat trackers or scramblers. The capacity of about 8,5 liters is responsible for the slime shape. The gas tank is ready for a thread gas cap like on newer Harley-Davidson® models. On the lower left side there is a 13/16" (ca. 22mm) thread for mounting a petcock and an additional vent tube. So the gas tank matches Harley-Davidson® carburettor models from 2004 to 2006.
Attention - depending on the delivery, the tank bracket is provided with center holes in the direction of the seat (see picture 4).
Dimensions: Length 46 cm Width 24 cm Height 20 cm Brackets to fix the tank to the frame tube are at the bottom of the tank tunnel with a 58 cm distance.
All gas tanks should be pressure tested and fitted before paiting.
